If you want to look at how much electricity you use at your house you can go to your electricity meter. There are two things you need to do:

  1. Find your Kh number. The value 7.2 is commonly seen, as shown in the photo.
  2. See how many seconds (t) it takes for the disc to go around once.
With these two pieces of information you can calculate the power consumption of household devices using the following formula:
          P = 3600 * Kh / t
